This weekend, music will be filling Carrboro from morning to night as more than 30 bands take part in a two-day event on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 called Carrboro Gets the HINT.
The show will be free and is being held to raise awareness of the group HINT, which is the Future of Music Coalition's Health Insurance Navigation Tool which provides musicians with advise about health insurance options.
The event will be held at Jesse's Coffee & Bar at 401 E. Main St., which will rotate between the indoor stage and the patio stage.
About this blog
This is my blog on the arts scene of Carrboro, Chapel Hill and surrounding Triangle communities. I'll focus on visual arts and the 2ndFriday Artwalk and other visual art events but that doesn't mean I won't chat about music, literary events, film or anything else in the local creative world. Please email with ideas, links, comments or brickbats. [I have comment moderation on so if you don't see your comment right away that means that I haven't had a chance to approve it yet. Sorry, but the spammers.....]
