New is a relative term, Triangle ArtWorks was founded in August 2010 with the following mission:
MISSION: The mission of the Organization is to provide the services, support and resources necessary to cultivate and ensure a vibrant creative community in the Triangle region of North Carolina.Basically we (I'm on the Board) want to be the glue for the Triangle art community. One thing we've done is to create an Arts Directory that links to organizations and businesses. Follow the link if you want to add an entry or suggest a new category. We also maintain a directory of resources for artists available here. Check it out and let us know if you have suggestions.
